Program Description:
By adopting the Professional Bachelor’s track in Social Work, the Professional Bachelor’s degree in Social Work will be awarded in two pathways:

Social Animation Track
As a higher education institute specialized in the field of social work in Morocco, the institute offers its students multidisciplinary and high-quality training through various courses proposed in the form of lectures, directed work, applied work, or fieldwork. This allows the student to develop their practical skills to reduce social disparities, improve quality of life, and promote rights.
The awarding of the Professional Bachelor’s degree addresses the problems of individuals, groups, and families suffering from economic, social, or relational difficulties. This professional degree helps social workers identify the needs of the population and understand the root causes of their problems to enable them to propose appropriate solutions.
The Professional Bachelor’s track in Social Work with its two pathways: “Social Service” and “Social Animation” aims to train social workers focused on the following objectives:

Understanding the theoretical foundations of social work;

Comprehending the position of social work in today’s world and facing the complexity of social reality;

Recognizing vulnerable groups;

Discovering the main roles of professionals in the social field;

Acquiring an ethical stance regarding social intervention practices;

Contributing to the promotion of individuals and enhancing their autonomy;

Developing interpersonal skills, listening, and communication skills;

Developing attitudes and skills in terms of knowledge and personal skills in professional practice;

Enhancing analytical skills and reconsidering professional practices;

Using mediation between socialization environments, individuals, groups, and their environment;

Developing intervention capabilities for individuals and groups;

Increasing knowledge about policies, legislation, and networks of actors working in the field of social work.
