Laboratory for Research and Studies in Strategy and Development of Social Work (LARESDAS)
The Laboratory for Research and Studies in Strategy and Development of Social Work (LARESDAS) is a source for creating new knowledge necessary for the development of economic activity and ensuring scientific existence. The research laboratory is a fundamental structure in the National Institute of Social Work as a higher education and research institution. The research laboratory of the National Institute of Social Work will be the basic unit for developing research activities: it will bring together professor-researchers and doctoral researchers who wish to pool their skills and resources to advance research in the main scientific fields.
The interactive nature of the relationship between research and higher education means that the National Institute of Social Work cannot fully develop without the contribution of scientific research. Therefore, the research laboratory is considered one of the fundamental building blocks of higher education at the institute, as it will contribute to improving the quality of higher education by taking into account:
-
Commitment to scientific projects for regional and national development
-
Organizing events of a scientific nature
-
Supervising doctoral students in their research projects
-
Designing and organizing continuing education courses for social and economic actors in coordination with the supervising ministry
-
Economic vigilance and economic intelligence
-
Facilitating the transfer of research results to economic and social sectors
-
Developing entrepreneurial spirit and creating “Spin-offs”
