Student Mobility
The National Institute of Social Work has worked on developing very important partnership agreements at the national and international levels with institutions, universities, and civil society organizations. This cooperation is based on exchanging expertise and knowledge, hosting trainee students, supervising their research, participating in the development of units, and organizing joint educational activities.
Student Mobility
Since 2019, the institute has benefited from international Erasmus+ programs aimed at strengthening the mobility of students and higher education professors among partner countries participating in these programs. This mobility is a very exciting opportunity for students to acquire knowledge in social work in the host country and to broaden their understanding from an international perspective. At the same time, this mobility allows them to develop their language skills in local national languages.
Within the framework of the cooperation and partnership agreement signed between the National Institute of Social Work and the Mediterranean Institute for Training and Research in Social Work (IMFRTS) in Marseille – France, since 2013, the two institutes have maintained continuous mutual cooperation. Recently, a new partnership agreement was renewed to advance building strong and fruitful relations with this friendly country.
During 2019, the institute welcomed the director of IMFRTS in Marseille and the person responsible for pedagogical activities at the Mediterranean Institute. The National Institute of Social Work also organized discussions on the research of Mediterranean Institute students who completed their internship, as usual, in one of the associations in the city of Tangier.
Thanks to the Erasmus+ program, students from the institute and students from the Technical Social Sciences University (TH Cologne) in Cologne – Germany exchanged to complete their internships or attend sessions with students from the host institution. One of the advantages of this program is that students wishing to study or do an internship outside their country can benefit from a monthly grant that covers their stay in the host country for up to five months. It is worth noting that student mobility between the two countries proceeded smoothly despite the global pandemic.
