
Director's Message
The National Institute of Social Work is a non-university higher education institution established in 1981 by the governmental authority in charge of social affairs, pursuant to Decree No. 2.84.30 dated January 31, 1985. The institute is considered a reference in training, social research, and social development at both the national and African levels.
The institute’s core training focuses on preparing intermediate and senior professionals specialized in the social field, capable of working with vulnerable groups in diverse social situations, whether individuals or communities, to help them resolve the social problems they face and facilitate their integration into society.
Currently, the institute is leading a major project to restructure and develop its training programs, increase student capacity, and integrate international training components. It currently operates under the Ministry of Solidarity, Social Development, Equality, and Family.
